I love the shots man! That wide-angle you rented really makes the difference. Have you priced the lens? You should consider purchasing it if it's not too bad. BTW, get me those shots asap and I'll have 'em online or in the mag! -B

The cheapest that I have seen it at is $460 used on Amazon. Not too many post it for sale on eBay at least not when I check it. Either people are holding on to it since this is one of the cheapest Sony wides around or Sony didnt sell too many.

$460 is dirt cheap for a lens. I know it is a lot of money for a tube with glass, but when the really good ones go for more than $2,000, I say go for it.

I do agree but its still a bit out of my range versus the amount of use I think I may get out of it. I can still wait on it later. No real need for it right away. Hopefully Ron Hope might be able to pick it up at a swap meet for cheaper one day.

No doubt Chris. I visit the place about once a year. Who would have thought it was in Alabama of all states. If you are into motorcyles you should make the trip.
