Dropzone Released

I used the beta for a little while on my netbook but got way to busy to really dig in. I set up the app and services but didnt really use it much at all. This app lets you drag and drop files to upload to Flickr, open in an app, email, etc. Although I was thinking about how crazy that was. All you have to do to open a text file is just double click it so drag and dropping in this app it a bit unnecessary. The Flickr feature is cool. It's sure to grow in functionality.

OS X on my Acer Aspire One

I finally decided to go for it. I first had to buy two things before starting. A Dell Wifi card to replace the original and a 1.8" Zif hard drive to replace the 8GB SSD stock drive. After a lot of trial and error I finally got these two items installed. Then the really "fun" part. Finding the right OS X iso files, boot apps, etc. It took so long to get the install process to work and get a successful install. I had to install and reinstall countless times. It works great now and most of my core apps work well.
